The eNewsletter will contain monthly features, video clips, interviews and general articles that highlight innovative and positive actions on behalf of the green community.
The Green Quest
You may have noticed, that we are in a universal cycle of growing consciousness around the state of our existence, and the tremendous impact we each make on this planet. We believe there is a natural desire among the majority of humans to contribute sensibly toward sustainability and preservation. However, as millions of people step-up to make a meaningful difference we recognize that this can create a challenge for each of us to stay informed, learn and so evolve. We've become overwhelmed and confused in the process, which often leads to inaction. We hope that GreenLifePixels.com and this newsletter will help clear the way for you to take action and become more knowledgeable.
Our goal is to partner with established businesses and non-profit organizations that are well respected for their contributions, as well as up-and-coming innovators who are bringing you the best and brightest solutions for a healthier planet.
Here are just a few organizations who have thankfully helped to streamline a healthy flow of practical green resources and information that each of us can benefit from:
Greenfestivals.org, Globalexchange.org, Grist.org and Earthwatch.org are all green leaders in their respective realms. We'd like to especially thank Greenfestivals and Globlaexchange for their early support of our launch efforts, and we look forward to working with each of these organizations as Green Life Pixels evolves.
Featured Green Leaders
Green Leaders Making A Difference
Our lead feature this month is on GreenFestivals, a collaborative project between Global Exchange and Co-Op America, two nationally known organizations that present highly relevant two-day events focused on sustainability.

Green Festivals www.greenfestivals.org “Green Festivals are a celebration of what's working in our communities, - for people, for businesses and for the environment.” Green Festivals will be hosting its 2007 event in Chicago April 21-22nd, coinciding with Earth Day.
Global Exchange www.globalexchange.org Global Exchange is a membership-based international human rights organization dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world. Our Freedom from Oil, Peace and Fair Trade campaigns educate, inspire and move people to play an active role in building a people-centered globalization that values the rights of workers and the health of the planet; that prioritizes international collaboration as central to ensuring peace and avoiding violent conflict; and that aims to create a local green economy designed to ensure the diversity and sustainability of our communities.
Grist http://www.grist.org Just because the planet's doomed doesn't mean you can't have a good laugh. Grist.org is the country's leading source of environmental news, commentary, and -- believe it or not -- humor. Grist's in-depth reporting, feisty opinions, cutting-edge arts and culture reviews, and sage advice are mobilizing a new generation of people to think creatively about green problems and solutions. Just think of Grist as a beacon in the smog.
Earthwatch.org www.earthwatch.org Earthwatch Institute is an international non-profit organization that brings science to life for people concerned about the Earth's future. Founded in 1971, Earthwatch supports scientific field research by offering volunteers the opportunity to join research teams around the world.
